A Bit About Us
Eric began collecting Americana and American Folk Art in 1994 and has been selling since 1997. Items in the inventory of Eric Maffei Antiques have been exhibited at the American Folk Art Museum, the Milwaukee Art Museum, the Peabody Essex Museum, the Hancock Shaker Village, the Long Island Museum, the Maryland Historical Society, the Fire Island Lighthouse Preservation Society, and the Nantucket Historical Association. Eric is a member of Historic New England, the Shaker Museum and Library, the Hancock Shaker Village, the Society for the Preservation of Long Island Antiquities, and the Northport Historical Society. He is also a Jean Lipman Fellow of the American Folk Art Museum and a Founding Member of the Nantucket Lightship Basket Museum. |
